This event will take place in the south of Tenerife, on the 4th of December. Diversity and integration will come together on this day. Visitors will be presented with a wide range of activities which fuse tourism and local population.

«Tenerife Happy Fest» is an initiative aimed to attract all kind of public under an umbrella of music, art, magic, humour, animation, and much more. It will be an unforgettable day for everyone who decides to come along and join this awesome sustainable event. It’s a festival designed with the whole family in mind, where you will find a variety of activities and entertainment for all ages.

The event will take place in one of the most popular shopping centres of the island, C.C. Siam Mall, in Costa Adeje (Tenerife South). This shopping mall is a meeting point for tourists and residents, a place where everyone can enjoy and share the same experiences. As a warm up to Christmas Holidays, the festival intends to revitalize tourist areas by sharing a demonstration of what the Canary Islands have to offer regarding leisure and hotel entertainment.

With no doubts, it is an opportunity for the locals to see the value found within Tenerife’s hotels and tourism industry, and also to convey the idea that «you don’t have to travel far away to enjoy a great holiday full of entertainment, because Tenerife is an international tourist market». The event is aimed at emphasizing the diversity of talent withheld within the Canary Islands. Likewise, the purpose is to gather hotels, entertainment, clubs, restaurants, tourist and resident visitors in a space of joy, fun and entertainment. Our goal is also to facilitate new collaborations among hotels, PR agencies, restaurants, and artists.

In fact, it is a perfect occasion for the ‘’Chicharreros’’ (local people) to see the local talent, as they will enjoy performances that usually occur inside the hotels. As well as taking the opportunity to spread awareness about the high levels of environmental impact, and spread the importance of minimising the carbon footprint.

Futurcan Marketing & Eventos and Asaoye – Association of Animation, Leisure and Hotel Entertainment, from Canarias are the sponsors of the event. Both entities will mingle both tourism and the local population in an open house entertainment day, thus bringing the different activities that hotels offer to tourists closer together while simultaneously highlighting the artistic potential they possess. Additionally, this initiative is backed by several principal promoters, which include: the Ministry of Tourism, Industry, and Commerce of the Government of the Canary Islands, Canary Islands Tourism, FEDER European Funds, and Adeje City Council.

All the activities are scheduled to run from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The festival welcomes everyone, from the youngest to the eldest. For this, four different atmospheres have been designed, so that everyone can find the right type of entertainment.

In our winter outdoor party, you will find: The Tribe Fest: Festival of happy families (for the whole family); Puretas’ Fest: Children at heart (adults and seniors); Happy Flower Fest: Peace, unity, sustainability, and universal harmony; and an itinerant environment that will take leisure and entertainment through the tourist areas of the municipalities of Arona and Adeje.

This whole festival would not be possible without the participation of our mascot «La Tortuga Felisa», which represents the importance of being rooted in culture and values. «La Tortuga Felisa» embodies society’s respect to art, culture, tourism, leisure, and the environment, adding value to the territory and creating a happy coexistence between tourists visiting Tenerife and local citizens.

Of course, “Tenerife Happy Fest” will bring benefits to the city. It will give the public the opportunity to consume local products, handmade with love and care. As well as allow people to experience the wide range of entertainment, shows, and leisure found in hoteliers and non-hoteliers. We aim to deliver prestige, reputation and visibility to the localities involved for also sharing the same values as the event. In addition, we want to reemphasize to the population the importance of blending tourism and sustainability.

Given the health circumstances, the event will be safe, responsible, and sustainable, complying with all current COVID-19 protocols and security measures.
